Hi! I am all sore today, as I got "inked" at my local tattoo shop "Black Pearl" in Bexhill. I have been planning to get the terrible symbol that I had on my shoulder covered with something pretty for AGES. Well, today marked the day. Literally marked. lol. And I chose a butterfly design with some little blossoms. I gotta say, It hurt A L O T and at some points my eyes almost watered, but I remained dry eyed and despite my legs going into random spasmodic cramp, I was still and patient. It hurt, did I mention that? I guess when you go for something six times bigger than what you already had, you gotta prepare yourself for six times the pain.
Yup. Yowza and Ouch! But pretty!
I now feel like I have sunburn.

that is absolutely gorgeous! I love it. You are so brave - i would love to get a tatoo but am way too much of a baby to actually get it done.

SJ, thats absolutely beautiful. Worth the pain! I have 2 Tats, Winnie the Pooh same place as yours & that hurt when it goes over the bone, doesn't it. Other Tat is a Scorpio on R Arm - again part is over the bone! I sympathize!
